1989 Ford Escort Rs Turbo Series 2 90 Spec Totally Restored Full Engine Rebuild
Here we have for sale my beloved and cherished Escort RS Turbo Series 2
This is a very very reluctant sale and a change in circumstances and health reasons forces sale.
Right, where shall i start with this one. I bought the car around 2 years ago with the intention of just driving it in the summer and taking it to car shows. When i bought it the car had just had a bare shell full restoration and respray in Rosso red, i then had the entire engine rebuilt, including new stage 2 turbo at a cost of around £5000, i have all the receipts for the engine rebuild.
The previous owner had this car restored at no expense spared, his intention was to keep it for 10 years and then hand it down to his son as an investment so he wanted it do be done to a very high standard. Unfortunately his circumstances changed and had to sell it.
I can confirm that following work was undertaken during the restoration. This was done properly and not just patched up welding like most of the other ones we viewed.
