1987 BMW E28 525e
For sale unusual Gazelle Beige over Nutria Brown hounds tooth 525e. This vehicle is being sold strictly as a project. It requires work to be made road legal but it is a great candidate for a rolling project or a full restoration. It won’t take much to get it through an MOT so could easily be ready for spring and the show season.
The car has an indicated 92k which is fairly low. We have the original book pack for the car including its service booklet which has some stamps and details some history of the vehicle.
The engine runs really very well, holds temperature nicely. We would recommend a full Inspection 2 service including a new cam belt and water pump but otherwise there seems to be no worries here. We have moved it round the yard and can confirm the gearbox shifts but again we would recommend this be serviced.
Mechanically it appears very functional but all the major systems do require a service.
