1985 VW T25 Caravelle 2.1 Auto Transporter
Relisted due to time waster ! So we are selling our VW transporter van – we did have this listed in the summer but we got messed around by the guy doing our MOT we brought it home and have only just got around to relisting with a brand new full MOT till November 2023. The MOT was completed by a classic vehicle specialist and all the work we’ve done on the van they’ve also completed.
We had a bit of rust damage fixed by them, Headlights, bushels, four brand new tyres, all the wiring has been checked and new parts done if needed. The van starts every time and has never missed a beat.
Unfortunately it has a problem with the gear box we had a quote to get it fixed from an automatic gear box specialist in Tonbridge who said £1200 to re condition and fix the gear box it basically slips out of third gear so we’ve been using it and just driving in 1st snd 2nd which has been fine for the school run etc . We just don’t have the time or money to give this van what it deserves.
It’s a great looking van gets so many comments everywhere we go. Few bits and bobs like scratched paint, and a bit of damage to a head rest but it just needs a bit of love and it’ll be back to 100% and looking amazing it’s in good condition for it’s age.
