1984 Mercedes-benz 240d W123
For Sale is my 1984 Mercedes 240d. She’s a 1984 saloon in original Labrador blue with black interior (a rare combo especially in RHD). These cars are known as the as “The million mile Merc” but this one has just 161k from new which is nothing for one of these, 2 keys, original Mercedes owners manual, 1 family owned except me, log book/paperwork/receipts/old tax discs/owners manual etc, Just MOT’d and Taxed although will be Tax, Mot and ULEZ exempt in Jan 24. All previous mot fail work done. Just fully serviced with new oil and filter, new air filter, new diesel filter, new brake pads all round, new brake fluid, new h&r springs all round, new rear anti roll bar links, new prop shaft joint, New battery, Tyres are nearly new with new white bands, all welding done so she is rock solid, sunroof gear replaced and sunroof serviced too. Fully re-sprayed around 1 year ago and still really good, at that time 3 doors were replaced and so was the bonnet (all with almost perfect un-repaired original Mercedes panels so no filler was needed), she runs like an old clock, drives and stops great and turns heads wherever she goes, i’ve got a few classics but none get as many comments as this one, people love these old merc’s and the 240d is apparently “The best Mercedes ever”- said Classics world mag. According to “howmanyleft” there is only 201 240d’s left registered here in the uk so this is a very rare car indeed. Most were exported to Africa to ride out their million miles so to find a low mile original un-molestered english 240d is rather rare indeed.
