For sale is my much loved polo. Selling due to lack of use. I’m in no rush to move it on but feel it’s somebody else’s turn to enjoy it.
This car was found as a shell several years ago, having stockpiled a host of early polo parts I decided to take the plunge, buy the shell and proceeded to have it fully welded and painted before building it up.
The polo has had new inner and outer rear arches, rear valance, front valance sections, sill sections and new front wings. All parts on the car are from a 76 donor car including engine, bonnet, boot, bumpers, grill, interior and dash. Suspension is 60/40 springs but I have originals also.
The car us on it’s original steel wheels and center caps with brand new tyres including spare. BBS RA No longer on the car.
Engine has had cam belt, water pump, plugs, leads, coil and of course oil and filter change. It could however do with a tidy up or would be an ideal candidate for a more powerful engine conversion.
Car was painted in original inari silver to a high standard as can be seen in the pictures. Engine bay is painted black.
I have regrettably had little time to drive the car although it has been to some local shows and to caffiene and machine which was about an hour and a half each way.
The car is mot and tax exempt.
